Do you want to get a chance to work with member of Parliament? Do you think you can contribute to the process of policy making in Indian government? Here is a rare and smart opportunity for motivated young people. PRS Legislative Research is seeking exceptional young Indian citizens for the Legislative Assistants to Members of Parliament (LAMP) Fellowship 2011-12.

The only fellowship of its kind in India, this provides the opportunity for young people to work closely with the policymaking process. 

The current batch of LAMP Fellows have been engaged in working

with members of Parliament on several Parliament related research tasks.  In addition, they have been interacting with several key opinion leaders and policymakers. The current 2010-2011 pilot initiative of the Fellowship is being conducted in collaboration with the Constitution Club of India.

Anyone below the age of 25, with at least a bachelor's degree can apply. The course is based in New Delhi and will commence in June 2011.
