Another incident to show that New Delhi is no longer a safe place to live in.

Vipul Kansal, a Class V student who was allegedly abducted on October 16, was found dead in the outskirts of the city on Wednesday.

The police say that Vipul, the son of a prominent businessman in Rohini, Delhi, was abducted as he got of the school van on October 15.

The police also say they suspect the role of a person by the name of Siddharth Jaitley who is known to Vipul's family.

The police also say that Jaitley had kidnapped Vipul who was a student of the G D Goenka school and demanded Rs 1.5 crore as ransom out of which Rs 33 lakh was paid.

The police suspect that the 26-year-old Jaitley had demanded ransom as his father had suffered from a heavy business loss.

Another angle being probed by the police is the business rivalry between the two families.

This angle is being probed after the uncle of the boy Naresh said, "They killed our boy due to rivalry. Money is not the issue here."

The police who have Jaitley in their custody say that further investigations will bring out the correct picture.

They also managed to trace the body of the boy after Jaitley was arrested.

Deputy Commissioner of Police, North, Manish Agarwal said that investigations are still on and he suspected that it was the handiwork of a novice.
