Chiranjeevi's brother Pawan Kalyan to launch political party

March 06, 2014 21:35 IST

It is raining political parties in Andhra Pradesh!

Both former chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and Chiranjeevi's brother Pawan Kalyan have decided to launch their own political parties.

The brother of the superstar, who has a huge fan following in Seema-Andhra, will make a formal announcement on Sunday.

Pawan Kalyan has decided to contest elections from both Seema-Andhra and Telangana, unlike Kiran Reddy.

He may upset the political dynamics in Seema-Andhra.

Pawan Kalyan has styled himself as a rebel candidate against his brother -- Congress Member of Parliament Chiranjeevi.

Kalyan, who had campaigned for the Praja Rajyam Party launched by his brother in 2009, was extremely upset when Chiranjeevi decided to merge his party with the Congress.

Seema-Andhra is all set to witness a multi-cornered political fight with the YSR Congress Party, the Telegu Desam Party and the new parties by Kiran Kumar Reddy and Pawan Kalyan jumping into the electoral fray.
