Pakistani Interior Minister Rehman Malik has tweeted, describing his tough-talking Indian counterpart P Chidambaram as a "very intelligent and capable leader".

"I found Mr. Chidambaram a very intelligent & capable leader," Malik wrote on popular social networking site 'Twitter' after his much-awaited encounter with Chidambaram,

the first Indian Minister to visit Pakistan after Mumbai terror attacks in 2008.

Malik, who had a series of meetings with Chidambaram on Friday and Saturday, wrote "We shared thoughts of friendship in the meeting."

"I feel it is time for exchange of hearts & not dossiers, between Pak and India," wrote Malik, who has nearly 3,000 followers of his account. During his meetings with Malik, Chidambaram made it clear to him that Pakistan needed to act with urgency against all those responsible for the Mumbai attacks and identified in the 11 dossiers that India has handed over since the attacks in November 2008, the sources said.

He told Malik that action against all those behind the Mumbai attacks would be a major confidence-building measure.

Chidambaram said: "We know that seven people (are being) prosecuted in the case. How far the prosecution has proceeded, it is for the Pakistani government to tell. We think that more people were behind the attacks and more people should be prosecuted."
