This photograph was shot at the IGL Cricket Tournament that was part of the Saifai Mahotsav -- an annual gala affair hosted by the Samajwadi Party at party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav’s native village, Saifai, in Uttar Pradesh.
The 15-day Saifai Mahotsav began last week with the district administration and other government machinery working overtime to make the event a success in Etawah.
The Mahotsav, which will go till January 8, was inaugurated by Rajya Sabha MP Jaya Bachchan in the presence of the SP chief and Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.
As the chief minister went around shaking hands of the players, this cricketer seemed more interested in taking a peek at his phone. Wonder what the chief minister had to say to that!
