Buzz word: 'America' most-invoked word in Obama's speech

In his sixth annual address to the Congress, Obama emphasised on key aspects of his foreign policy.

Using a word cloud on the prepared remarks for the president’s speech we have been able to pull out the most frequently mentioned words in the text. The size of the word signifies the frequency with which it was used.

In his 7,000 words long State of the Union address, Obama repeatedly used the words ‘America’, ‘American’ and ‘Americans’.  

Other words the president reiterated were ‘people’, ‘jobs’, ‘help’, ‘work’ and ‘Congress’. These words also have been used prominently in past addresses delivered by Obama.
