Sixteen persons were injured on Tuesday when an elevator at a tech park in Bangalore plunged down from the seventh floor after its cable snapped, the police said.
Eleven of the injured had been admitted to a hospital where their condition was stated to be out of danger, they said.
A case had been registered against the company responsible for maintenance of the elevator, the police said.
