Art: Indian students win prizes in Poland

Two Indian entries have won prizes at the 11th International Biennale of Children and Youth Graphic Art in Poland.

A Prakash and D Sujatha of Young Envoys International School at Hyderabad won the prizes, the Indian embassy at Warsaw said in a press release on Wednesday.

The international jury, which judged 14,917 entries from 46 countries, decided that 1,010 works from 38 countries were fit for an exhibition, currently on in Torun city in Poland.

The total number of qualified entries from India were 171 and of these 15 were placed in the special exhibition category.

Indian ambassador to Poland Anil Wadhwa received the awards on behalf of the two students.
