Wife of cricketer Ajit Agarkar was involved in a hit-and-run accident on Monday night while driving her Santro car near Ravindra Natya Mandir at Worli in central Mumbai.

Police sources told PTI that three persons were injured. The accident took place at 2130 hours IST. Fatima was headed towards K C College, Churchgate, to meet her mother.

Soon after the accident she drove her vehicle to her in-laws house at Agar Bazaar in Dadar from where she was reportedly taken for medical check-up, police sources said.

The police, however, did not lodge any FIR in the incident.
