How the govt sidestepped every allegation in the Jain report

The Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam had the backing of Karunanidhi, his DMK government and the state's law-enforcing agencies gave tacit support to the militants. Karunanidhi has stated that his government did everything as wanted by the Centre.
Though the DMK government was dismissed later by then prime minister Chandra Shekhar after Rajiv Gandhi's assassination, the LTTE's clandestine activities continued. No comments.
LTTE regularly interacted with Karunanidhi, so that their work was not hampered. These observations are sweeping. No action is called for.
The LTTE and the United Liberation Front of Asom were working together. The observation was noted.
Former prime minister V P Singh should not have accepted the advice tendered by security experts and bureaucrats. Unsubstantiated. The view is not shared by the government.
In March, 1991, LTTE send wireless messages from Madras their leaders at Jaffna. Some of these pertained to the Rajiv Gandhi assassination plan. No comment
