2 killed, 22 hurt in Delhi blast

At least two people were killed and 22 injured when a bomb exploded in a crowded Blue Line bus in west Delhi's Punjabi Bagh area this evening.

The police said the explosion took place at 1843 hours in a bus plying between the Inter-State Bus Terminus and Nangloi. The injured have been admitted to the ESI hospital in Raja Garden and Maharaja Agrasen hospital in Punjabi Bagh.

"The explosion was caused by a device kept below a seat," the police said, "The bus was then crossing Rampura chowk on the Rohtak road."

The incident comes exactly a month after the twin blasts in Chandini chowk wherein three people were killed. In October, the Capital had witnessed a series of eight explosions in various regions.
