Curfew on Indo-Bangla border

The authorities have promulgated night curfew for two months along the Indo-Bangla international border in parts of west Tripura to prevent trans-border movement of militants.

The curfew will be effective from 2100 hours to 0500 hours. The move is also aimed at curbing border crimes. It was imposed in 20 places along the border.
