CCS meet to discuss Pakistan scenario A Correspondent in New Delhi | March 12, 2009 13:04 IST Last Updated: March 12, 2009 16:12 IST A Cabinet Committee on Security meeting, chaired by Prime Minister, has been convened to discuss the emerging scenario in Pakistan. This is the second such meeting the prime minister will chair on Pakistan. Foreign Minister, Home Minister, Agriculture Minister and Defence Minister have been invited to attend the CCS.The National Security Advisor, along with chiefs of three Armed Forces, will also be present. Before Prime Minister leaves for London [Images] on April 2, there will be two more CCS meet to discuss India's policy towards Pakistan. "We do hope these issues will be resolved by their own system and by their own mechanism," Mukherjee told media-persons after the CCS meeting when asked to comment on the developments in Pakistan. "Pakistan is an important neighbour. I hope that all its internal matters will be resolved by its leadership amicably and peacefully, in its best interests," Mukherjee said while refusing to comment on the situation.
