After prolonged bickering over seat-sharing in Maharashtra for the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls, Shiv Sena and the Bharatiya Janata Party [Images] are veering towards an alliance, with some in the BJP even claiming that the seat-sharing formula is ready.

"No serious controversy remains on the seat-sharing issue," senior Sena leader Manohar Joshi said in Mumbai [Images] on Monday. "There are some minor issues but I would not like to divulge the details," he told media-persons, indicating that the over two-decade old alliance was on track for the next month's polls.
