Pakistan High Commissioner Shahid Malik met Home Minister P Chidambaram [Images] and is understood to have discussed aspects related to the Mumbai terror attacks [Images].

No details were available of the meeting which took place in the backdrop of India's refrain that Pakistan is not officially conveying anything in response to the Mumbai attack evidence.

Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi claimed in Islamabad [Images] that Malik updated Chidambaram on the investigation into the Mumbai attacks but External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee [Images] said India had not heard from Pakistan through official channels.
