January 23, 2009
The prime minister had complained of uneasiness and chest pain and underwent an angiography at AIIMS on Wednesday.
According to a reliable source close to him, the prime minister's heart has three blockages. It has been found that one old blockage has reoccurred while two new blockages in his coronary arteries have been found.
Doctors treating him have said the surgery would be a routine affair and the prime minister would recover within two to three weeks.
