Pak official blames RAW for anti-Christian riots
August 07, 2009 13:16 IST

Lahore [Images] Commissioner Khusro Pervez has blamed India's intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) for the recent riots in Punjab [Images] province.

The Daily Times quoted Pervez as saying that the recent anti-Christian riots in Gojra and Sheikhupura were orchestrated by the RAW.

He added that various American and Western organisations were trying to create 'an Islamic brigade' in Pakistan by supporting the Indian spy agency.

Pervez said that Pakistan had identified nearly 21 such organisations whose members were receiving training in neighbouring countries.

"It seems RAW is trying to avenge its failure in Kashmir [Images]," he alleged. (ANI)
