A team of police officials from Delhi [Images], investigating the recent serial bomb blasts there, arrived in Udupi in Karnataka on Monday to find out if some of the components used in the explosives were sourced from nearby Manipal.
The team was accompanied by Inspector General of Police (Western Range) A M Prasad and Udupi Police Superintendent Pawar.
When newspersons met Prasad to get information on the progress of investigations, he requested not to disturb the team at this juncture.
He said that the Delhi police had got some telephone numbers from the arrested persons and the police were continuing their investigations based on that.
