Church attacks: Mangalore in turmoil

Right-wing Hindu activists had gone on a rampage on Sunday when they desecrated several churches in the Mangalore and Udupi belts on the pretext that these institutions ere resorting to conversion.
The activists had damaged window panes and furniture in the churches and prayer halls on Sunday. In all, protestors had attacked nine churches in Mangalore, Udupi and the Chickmagalur.
