Security tightened in Imphal after blast October 20, 2008 14:49 IST Sources said police and other security personnel were deployed at vulnerable places and frisking of passers-by has been intensified to detect the movement of armed ultras. Sources said extra forces have been deployed around the chief minister's residence. They said Sunday's bomb explosion around 8.30 pm near the CM 's official residence was the second such incident in the past two months. There was no casualty in the explosion.
