A 27-year-old software engineer, Malesh Banerjee from Ranchi, who was to get married on December 6, was among the dead in the terror attack on the Taj Hotel.
Malesh, who graduated from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, was present at the hotel when terrorists attacked on Wednesday night, family sources said.
The family received the news of his death at about 5:00 am Thursday morning.
Bharatiya Janata Party's chief whip in the state Assembly C P Singh, who visited the family members, condoled the death of the software engineer.
