Hyderabad-based NTR Memorial Trust Blood Bank is airlifting 100 units of blood of rare groups like A-, B-, O- and AB- to Mumbai to meet the requirements of the victims of the terror attacks.
    
"More blood units will be sent to Mumbai to take care of the Mumbai's requirements fully," NTR Trust chief executive officer P Raghu Rama Rao said.

NTR Memorial Trust is working on a war-footing to collect blood and dispatch the units to Mumbai. "Whatever be the scale of Mumbai blood requirements in this hour of national crisis, we are equipped to meet it," Raghu Rama Rao said.
    
The Trust has appealed to citizens of Andhra Pradesh to donate blood in this hour of crisis.
