The Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange will remain closed on Thursday in the wake of terror attacks in Mumbai.

The commodity exchange MCX too has decided to shut operations for today.

Meanwhile the Maharashtra government has declared a holiday for schools and colleges on Thursday.

Trains were functioning normally after services were stalled for about four hours after terror attack in Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (VT).

Traffic on Thursday was running smoothly though very few Mumbaikars actually ventured out.

The police have given strict warning to Mumbaikars not to venture around Taj and Oberoi hotel where the terrorists are holed up and have kept more than 50 people as hostage.
