A Kandhamal court on Monday posted the next date of hearing in the alleged nun rape case to December 6, after the Orissa police failed to file a chargesheet in the case.

No application has been filed from the nun's side.

The sub-divisional judicial magistrate's court at Baliguda on November 19 had asked the state crime branch, probing the case, to file the chargesheet by November 24. But the CB could not do it as the test identification parade could not be held during the period.

The police made the first arrest in the case on October 3. The alleged rape victim did not attend the TIP on November 10 and November 19 on health grounds.

Her application to shift the venue of the TIP to Delhi [Images] was rejected by the court.
