National Security Advisor M K Narayanan will meet Leader of the Opposition L K Advani [Images] on Friday to apprise him about the Malegaon probe.

The NSA would be calling upon Advani at noon to discuss the developments in the Malegaon probe, highly-placed sources in Bharatiya Janata Party told PTI.

Intelligence Bureau Chief P C Haldar will also be present at the meeting, the sources said.

The NSA-Advani meeting would follow Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's [Images] telephonic conversation with Advani on Wednesday where the PM said that Narayanan would "explain the facts" of the probe into the blast.

Advani had slammed the ATS for an "unprofessional and politically-motivated" probe into the case.
