LoC firing: India, Pak to hold flag meeting May 21, 2008 00:11 IST As Islamabad on Tuesday assured New Delhi of its commitment to make the truce hold along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir [Images], Indian and Pakistani troops would have a flag meeting on Wednesday at an LoC point in Poonch sector against the backdrop of recent disquiet caused by unprovoked Pakistani firing. During the meeting, the Indian Army would lodge a protest against the killing of one of its jawans in the firing by Pakistan on Monday. "A flag-meeting would be held tomorrow at Chakan-Da-Bagh point in Poonch sector over the issue of ceasefire violations and killing of army jawan in unprovoked firing and rocket attacks on our post yesterday", a top army officer said. During the meeting to be held at Brigade commander level, India would formally lodge a written protest against the firing and rocket attacks on an Indian forward post in Poonch district, he said.
