JK: Grenade blast kills two children Mukhtar Ahmad In Srinagar | March 21, 2008 18:29 IST Two children were killed when a hand grenade exploded in Gawari village in the hilly Doda district at Jammu on Friday. "As they fiddled with the grenade, it exploded, killing both of them on the spot," a senior police officer said. The police suspect that the grenade may have been the leftover ammunition of the recent encounter between militants and security forces in the village. Four militants were killed in the gun battle earlier this week.
