AP speaker accepts resignations of 16 TRS MLAs Syed Amin Jafri in Hyderabad | March 07, 2008 18:47 IST Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker K R Suresh Reddy accepted the resignations of 16 Telangana Rashtra Samithi MLAs, who had quit their seats to protest the failure of the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance government to create a separate Telangana state, in Hyderabad on Friday. Legislature Secretary K Tuljanand Singh, in an official bulletin, said the Assembly speaker accepted the resignations of the following TRS members: G Vijayarama Rao (representing Ghanpur constituency), Nayani Narasimha Reddy (Musheerabad), ERajender (Kamalapur), T Harish Rao (Siddipet), A Chandra Shekhar (Vikarabad), K Nagesh (Alair), E Ravinder Reddy (Yellareddy), Ch Laxma Reddy (Jadcherla), S Ramalinga Reddy (dommat), V Laxmikantha Rao (Huzurabad), K Prathap Reddy (cheriyal), Mrs M Padma Devender Reddy (Ramayampet), T Padma Rao (Secunderabad), A Govind Naik (Khanapur), K Eshwar (Myadaram) and Gaddam Ganga Reddy (Dichpalli), with effect from March 7. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
