The Karnataka police have received information that Adnan, the alleged mastermind of Karnataka terror plot, who is on the run, was hiding at the residence of Yahya Khan in Bengaluru, while the police launched a manhunt.

Yahya Khan, the techie from Bengaluru who was arrested in connection with the same case, said during his narco analysis test that Adnan was reportedly hiding at his home on the Bannerghatta Road all these days.

He also revealed that apart from Adnan, he had also sheltered a man named Junaid, who incidentally is an accused in the Mumbai train blast case.

Adnan, a resident of Bijapur in north Karnataka, had allegedly gone into hiding the moment Nasir and two others were arrested. During the course of investigations, Nasir revealed that the real mastermind behind the entire Karnataka plot was Adnan, adding that he had fled with AK-47 rifles and ammunition.

Yahya also revealed during the test that Adnan stayed with him for several weeks, but he had to change his hiding place the moment the situation worsened.

Yahya immediately packed Adnan off to Kerala [Images], where he is suspected to be hiding at the moment.

Yahya also said during the test that immediately after the Mumbai train blast, Junaid and several others had taken shelter at his house in the city. However, Junaid was picked up by the Mumbai ATS in 2006.
