In a significant development Bharatiya Janata Party leader L K Adavni wants the party to reach out the Muslims and Christians to boost its vote percentage in the coming assembly elections and Lok Sabha elections. Advani was delivering a key note address to the delegates attending the party's two day national executive being held in New Delhi.

Advani stressed the need to reach out to all sections of voters as the number of voters between 18-30 are increasing substantially. Advani wanted to reach out to "the Muslims and Christians who have so far remained aloof from BJP." Rajnath Singh, party president had described as the party as a clear front runner and asked the party workers to make it a clear winner.

Adavni gave a new slogan to the party by saying 'Jeetega Bhajapa, Jeetega Bharat.' Advani named a number of party leaders who had done tremendous work during the Karnataka elections. Advani singled out Karnataka chief minister B S Yeddyurappa and Anant Kumar who had worked jointly to ensure victory of the party. Likewise he mentioned M Venkaiah Naidu, Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley.

Out of 296 seats that the party had won at some point of time or the other, only half the number of MPs have so far given their report to the party. Advani mentioned how the BJP and its allies in the states were being given step motherly treatment by the centre, and were being denied the facilities due to them. The quota of rations to the states  was cut by almost fifty percent, Advani said.

Advani cautioned the functionaries who put their personal interest above the party's interests and was confident that if the party won the Lok Sabha elections other parties who won as well, would automatically join the new coalition even if do not agree with the BJP's point of view.
