Three bombs found in Rajasthan

Three bombs, placed in containers, were found on the road near Marwar in Pali district on Tuesday afternoon, the police said.

The bombs, put in half-litre oil containers, were planted on the Marwar-Ranawas Road at gap of one km and were spotted by onlookers, a police spokesman told UNI over telephone.

The bombs were packed from the top with cement paste.

The authorities soon swung into action, police officials and Bomb Disposal Squads were rushed for Marwar from Pali and Jodhpur, the spokesman added.

Meanwhile, the police also recovered explosive material from Pahadi town of Bharatpur district this afternoon, a police spokesman said from Bharatpur.
