The Bharatiya Janata Party has condemned the serial bomb blasts in Ahmedabad.

Speaking to rediff.com, BJP vice president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said the terrorists were targeting BJP-ruled states because they know the party was determined to finish off terrorism in India.

"The incidents once again prove our charge that the Union government is not willing to put down terrorism with an iron hand. It is unfortunate that states ruled by our party are being specially targeted," Naqvi said.

Gujarat figures in a report by National Security Advisor M K Narayanan on the states that could be hit by terrorists.
