Suspended Bharatiya Janata Party MP from Gujarat Somabhai Patel on Monday declared his support to the United Progressive Alliance government and claimed that "no force or incentive" can bring him back to the party-fold.

"I have been told that my suspension has been revoked. Let me make it clear that I ceased to have any relation with the BJP when I was suspended without even a chance to explain my point," Patel told PTI in Delhi.

"I have made up my mind to vote in support of the government tomorrow and this decision has nothing to do with any incentive or proposal. This is a decision of my conscience since I was insulted by the men in BJP, a party for which I worked whole of my life," he added.

Patel is the second person from the saffron party to come out openly against the party whip.
