Militants on Monday lobbed a grenade at a Central Reserve Police Force camp located about 1 km from the Jammu and Kashmir [Images] assembly, injuring a jawan.

The grenade was lobbed at the office of DIG (operations) of the CRPF in Karim Nagar as the assembly met for a day-long session during which Chief Minister Ghulam [Images] Nabi Azad will seek a trust vote.

"The jawan received splinter injuries in the attack on the rear side of the headquarters of 23 battalion of the CRPF at around 9.45 am," CRPF spokesman P Tripathay told PTI.
