Amid tight security, 19 year-old Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Friday returned to his alma mater Oxford, days after appealing to the media to respect his privacy so that he can continue his studies.

Bilawal, a first-year history student at Christ Church College, was named Chairman of the Pakistan People's Party following the assassination of his mother Benazir Bhutto on December 27 in Rawalpindi.

He faces threats to his life and protecting him will not be easy, said security experts.

"As long as he is moving in the public, there is no amount of security possible that will prevent a dedicated suicide assassin from getting him," said Bob Ayres, a security analyst with the Royal Institute for International Affairs, according to a TV channel.

Bilawal had earlier said, "When I am at Oxford, I hope I can be left alone. I fear more for my privacy".
