During his visit, president Bush will meet with Israeli prime minister Ehud Olmert and Palestinian authority president Mahmoud Abbas.
His meeting with the two leaders will be an effort on their negotiations and their obligations to each other, as written in the first stage of the 'road map' outlining steps to be taken.
Bush's trip follows the November conference in Annapolis, at which both the Israelis and Palestinians agreed to launch the first major peace talks in seven years.
