Forty people were killed and over 20 injured when a bus fell off a bridge in Pakistan's Punjab province on Sunday.
The accident occurred near Pattoki, when the bus carrying more than 60 passengers was going from Lahore [Images] to Multan, police said.
The bus caught fire after going off the bridge.
Police Officer Tariq Abbas Qureshi said 40 people were killed while state-run PTV reported that 35 had died.
Police said 22 people were injured.
Rescue worker rushed to the site of the accident to ferry the wounded to hospital.
