Coverage: Battleground 2008 In the results declared so far, the Congress has won seven seats in the 40-member state assembly. Former chief minister and state Congress chief Lal Thanhawla leads the list of the winners by bagging the South Tuipui seat in Lunglei district and Serchhip seat in Serchhip district, his home turf. Other winners include Lalrinmawia in Hachhek seat in Mamit district, R Lalzirliana in Tawi seat, R L Pianmawia in Tuivawl both Aizawl district and P C Lalthanliana in Lunglei North.
