The Bombay high court has directed the Central Bureau of Investigation to reinvestigate certain aspects of the Vishram Patil murder case in which President Pratibha Patil's [Images] brother has been sought to be made an accused.

This comes on the heels of the CBI informing the high court on November 26 that G N Patil, brother of the President, and two others had refused to undergo a lie detector test during its probe into the three-year-old murder of Vikram Patil, a Congress leader from Jalgaon in Maharashtra.

Further details are awaited.
