IAEA board meets to finalise India's safeguards deal

The International Atomic Energy Agency Board of Governors' meeting � to discuss the India-specific nuclear safeguards agreement � has started in Vienna [Images].

The IAEA's nod for the safeguards agreement is crucial in the operationalisation of the India-United States nuclear agreement.

After the IAEA's approval, India will have to approach the 35-member Nuclear Supplier's group for its support for the landmark deal.
