We seek genuine autonomy, says Dalai Lama

The Dalai Lama, Tibet's exiled spiritual leader, demanded that China give Tibet 'genuine' autonomy, but expressed support for Beijing's hosting of the Olympics during a stopover in Japan on Thursday.
The Tibetan in-exile Prime Minister Samdhong Rinpoche in New Delhi said that his government did not support the disruption of the Olympic torch relay around the world.
