India not competing with China: Dr Singh

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Wednesday said that contrary to the widely held belief, India is not aiming to compete with China vis-à-vis its influence on Africa, which is a mineral-rich continent.
Dr Singh, addressing a joint news conference of the two day Indo-Africa summit that concluded in New Delhi said that India is not in any race with China and the ongoing Indo-Africa summit aims at boosting bilateral relations of the two nations.
