Pakistani security agencies were facilitating militants to infiltrate into Indian territory from the existing terrorist training camps across the Line of Control, the Indian Army said on Wednesday.

"Like this side, Pakistani forces are also guarding the LoC and it is not possible for militants to infiltrate without the support of the security agencies on the other side," Major General R K Karwal, general officer commanding XVI 'While Knight' Corps said in Nagrota.

However, with the new government taking over in Islamabad, Maj Gen Karwal said, "We are hopeful of improvement in relations with Pakistan."

Deliberating on security situation in Jammu region, he said the infiltration has been brought down to zero level.

"Everything is not okay, but the situation is better," Major Gen Karwal, who is also the security advisor to the state government, said.

The corps commander nullified reports regarding existence of "mobile training camps" within the state.

"There is no such camp reported here," he said asserting that there still exist 19 terrorist training camps on the other side of the LoC.

As per the intelligence in-puts, he said, 300-400 trained militants were awaiting to sneak into the Indian side of the LoC.
