In yet another case of lynching in Bihar, a suspected thief was beaten to death by angry villagers in Bihar's Gopalgunj district on Monday night.

The incident took place late on Monday night in Lohkhara village, which falls under the jurisdiction of Manjha police station. Twenty-two-year-old Bikrama Ram was allegedly trying to steal something from the house of one Kariman Manjhi, but he was nabbed by Manjhi's family members.

When the villagers heard about the incident, they gathered near the house and started beating Ram with sticks.

The incident comes close on the heels of the lynching of two suspected robbers in Patna and the lynching of ten suspected thieves in Vaishali.
