Enraged over former prime minister Nawaz Sharif's deportation to Saudi Arabia, Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf chief Imran Khan on Tuesday warned President Pervez Musharraf [Images] that such steps will not help him "save his skin".

Khan said it was time that Musharraf stopped fooling himself and faced the reality.

"If you think that by sending Sharif to Saudi Arabia you can save your skin, you better stop fooling yourself. Neither can America save you nor Benazir and not even the PML (Q) turncoats," Khan said in Islamabad on Tuesday.

The former cricketer, who had earlier urged his partymen to march to the airport to give the Pakistan Muslim League chief a warm welcome on his return to the country, said the people of Pakistan will unite against Musharraf.

"God willing, the entire Pakistani nation will rise against you and we will fight you in streets," he challenged.
