Security forces foiled yet another infiltration bid along the Line of Control in north Kashmir and gunned down four intruders on Sunday night.

This was the second infiltration attempt in last two days.

A defence spokesman said the movement of militants was picked up by alert troops of 14 Bihar regiment on the LoC in the north Kashmir's Baramulla sector.

"The intruders were surrounded and challenged. They opened fire at the troops, which was returned, resulting in a gun battle at the end of which four militants were killed," Lt Col. A K Mathur told rediff.com
