The son of software professional working in a top IT company was kidnapped by unidentified persons at Hitech city in Hyderabad on Tuesday night.

The police said Rohit, 3, son of Ravinder Reddy, working in a leading software company, was abducted from a play-ground near the apartment where the family is residing.  

Noticing the boy was playing in the ground, a person scaled the wall of the ground and picked him. Then the boy was bundled into a Qualis car, the police said.

The police have registered a case and launched a search operation.  Suspecting the boy was kidnapped for extorting money, the police said the victim's parents had not received any phone call from abductors so far.
