Notice issued against Union minister, RJD MP

Notices were issued to ten Rashtriya Janata Dal leaders including Union minister Akhilesh Prasad Singh, party MP Sadhu Yadav, brother-in-law of Railway Minister Lalu Prasad, for organising a show in which bar dancers participated and loud music was played after the permitted time a day before the of party's Chetawani rally in Patna.

Bihar Home Secretary Afzal Amanullah said on Tuesday that he ordered that ten RJD leaders, who violated the Patna high court's order that bans the use of loudspeakers after 2200 hrs, be issued notices. "An FIR has been lodged against artistes" Amanullah said.

Official sources in police department said that notices were also issued against former ministers Shyam Rajak, Shakeel Ahmad Khan and Ram Chandra Purbe for violating the high court order.
