Kashmir celebrates Dussehra after 20 years

After 20 long years, the effigy of Ravana was burnt in Kashmir to symbolise the triumph of good over evil.

The Kashmiri Pandit Sangarash Samiti organised the festival "in order to attract attention to the neglected and ignored Kashmiri Pandit community."
