A cyclist was killed after being hit by a speeding Blueline bus at Dwaraka in New Delhi on Saturday. The deceased, who is yet to be identified, is the 98^th victim of accidents involving Blueline buses in the capital.

The mishap took place at sector six of Dwarka in south-west Delhi on Saturday morning, police said. The victim, who was in his mid 20s, was rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, they said.

 The driver of the bus, plying between Manglapuri and Azadpur, fled from the spot soon after the incident. A case of rash and negligent driving has been registered against him and efforts are on to nab him, said the police.
